“signoSign/mobile” – especially for use on mobile devices

With the Blackberry, e-mail communication was relocated for the first time to the mobile world on a large scale. In the meantime, there are countless business apps for iPhone/iPad and Android tablets, with that you can start all possible kinds of business processes on your mobile device.
Today, it’s also possible to sign digitally on the move.

If you want to sign a PDF document directly on your tablet, handwritten and in accordance with law, you´ll need a special pen and the appropriate app.

With “signoSign/mobile” the signotec GmbH has developed a signature-software especially for use on mobile devices. Via iPhone, iPad or other smartphones and accordingly tablets with Android OS you are able to sign PDF documents – directly on the display of your mobile device. That grants a workflow without media disruption.

The app from signotec shows the PDF document generated by an application on the mobile device. With the app. The user is signing the document with his pen and is so implementing his signature, digital and evidential, in the document. The difference to an original Pen-Pad is certainly the lower capture quality of the signatures, because the tablets aren’t designed for the capturing of signatures and doesn’t work as accurate as the original Pen-Pads.

So you´ll need a special pen which is simulating the fingertip, therefore the haptic (feel of the surface and the writing sensation) isn’t comparable to a normal pen. Furthermore the essential pressure ranges are lacking and the low partial measurement of the position of the pen per second (sample rate). The signing via iPad & Co. is qualified particularly for business processes, in which the authenticity of the signature itself plays an underpart.

signotec is offering his app for iPhone/iPad, as well as for Android tablets. In the Apple-version, an internet connection to the signotec signature-server is required for use. The software can be integrated in further apps on the iPhone/iPad by Apple specific mechanisms.
