The signature pad Delta of the Ratinger signature specialist signotec is one of the news presented at the CeBIT 2017. The device is an absolute novelty and unique on the signature market, since it is not just a simple monitor extension. The CeBIT takes place in Hanover from March 20th to 24th, 2017. signotec is exhibiting in the usual place, in Hall 3 at Booth D29.

The 10.1" color display allows the user to display A4 documents in their original width. Full PDF documents can be uploaded into the device and scrolled comfortably with the stylus. This makes the "Delta" the ideal solution for banks, government agencies as well as for companies, where complex documents must be read and verified before signing. The technology used regarding the “Delta” is unique. Unlike other 10-inch-devices on the market, the Delta Signature Pad is a true signature pad rather than a simple monitor extension.

The Delta pad has the same SDK as all other signotec signature pads and is integrated into all applications as well. What are the advantages of this? Integrators and developers can fully interact with the pad: Upload PDF documents into the pad, create own graphics, images and texts, create buttons and capture the signature in various formats.

Naturally, the device provides the patented security of signing PDF documents in the pad and – moreover – of encrypting the biometric signature by using a public RSA key. Its "Secure Mode" only uses a reduced amount of data for the real-time display on the PC monitor. The biometric characteristic of the signature cannot be reconstructed therefrom. Other devices on the market encrypt the data transmission, but decrypt the biometric data for the real-time display on the PC. When using monitor extensions even the mouse pointer is moved: The signature can easily be spied out and captured. With signotec signature pads, you get the highest security for capturing biometric signatures.

With its space-saving design the Delta pad can be placed on the table or can be brought into an oblique position with the integrated stand. In addition, it has a 75-VESA mounting fixture for mounting on third-party fixtures. It comes with two pen holders for the best ergonomics and the respective application: either horizontally above the device or inclined to the user.

The Delta does not only prove the groundbreaking quality characteristics of signotec products. signotec is once again taking a new approach in terms of the ability to integrate and, above all, of the security of investment. For the first time, all connection types of the signotec pads are optionally available in one device: HID-USB, WIN-USB, virtual COM-Port as well as Ethernet. The user can switch between all operating modes.
