In addition to the signotec signature pads and signature software, signotec also offers powerful developer tools. The signoAPI is a complex interface for the integration of PDF functions and ISO-compliant PDF signatures. In addition to the native Windows version and the variants for Linux (Java) and Apple iOS, signotec has now further developed the signoAPI for the Google operating system Android.

With the signotec APIs you can develop or extend your own applications for simple or advanced electronic, handwritten signatures. For many years, the signoAPI Windows has provided the base-interface for capturing signatures on a signature pad, tablet PC or mobile device as well as a complex interface for ISO and Adobe DigSig-compliant signature of PDF documents. Recently the signoAPI Android is also available for the integration into native Android apps. The advantage: The component does not require an online connection and can also be used without restriction offline within a separate application.

In the current version 4.0.0 it is possible to view, fill out and save PDF forms. Furthermore, the capture of ISO-compliant signatures in existing signature fields, the configuration of own certificates for encryption and signature as well as the Samsung S-Pen support for high quality writing data is available.

More features will be added soon: Then, the API will not only offer the creation of own signature fields and PDF documents, but also the attachment of individual pages. In addition to the creation of photo fields for capturing photos via the camera, the capture of signatures will be possible either as an image or with biometric data without a PDF signature.
