There will no longer be any T-Mobile offices without a signature pad   

Austrian mobile carrier T-Mobile Austria has decided that each office will be equipped with devices for electronic signatures by the company signotec GmbH, Ratingen. With the introduction of electronic signatures in the submission of applications and contracting the company also offers its customers modern working methods which reduce costs and optimize customer service.

Customer data will be recorded on a server of T-mobile, there they will be available as an electronic document in PDF format and thanks to the signotec's software SignoSign / Web they will directly be shown in the browser. Signotec’s software will scan the necessary identity documents and they will be attached automatically to the application / contract. These completed contracts will then be signed by the customer via the signature pad. The signature is evidential and legally embedded into the document. Immediately after that the contract will be transmitted electronically to the headquarters of T-Mobile Austria where it will be archived electronically. If necessary, the contract may also be printed for a customer.

Almost 350 signatures pads are in use. The company chose the rugged signing pad SigLite 1x5 LCD. An important reason for the choice has been the compact format in conjunction with a wide sensor that can capture more signatures legally safe.
