Ratingen/Paderborn, Germany, 3 February 2011 – Banking and retail professionals visiting the Wincor Nixdorf in-house trade fair from 25 to 27 January made the event a highlight for signotec GmbH, based in Ratingen, Germany. In addition to the actual trade fair exhibit, the leading provider in technology for electronic signatures took the opportunity to present some practical examples for different sectors. Now entering its 11th year with confidence and excellent prospects, signotec continues to draw an ever-increasing number of visitors and growing interest.
Processes in banks and businesses are being highly optimized with the new Sigma and Omega signature pads. “Silver” partner and sole technology partner for electronic signatures with signature pad, signotec showcased its entire range of legally compliant solutions for signing digital documents onscreen, winning over this year’s trade fair visitors. The company already set new standards last year with its software and hardware, specifically developed and manufactured in Germany. With a sampling rate of 500 Hz and 1,024 pressure stages, the Sigma and Omega solutions enable the direction, duration and pressure coordinates of the signature to be digitised and recorded using unsurpassed frequencies. It is impossible to spy on the biometric feature. signotec solutions have been evaluated by an independent, court-qualified handwriting expert. The system has also been certified by the testing and certification organisation TÜV Saarland, validating the reliability of the pads used in conjunction with the software. One of the highlights of this year’s trade fair exhibit was the signotec presentation “Signature tablets and how they are used in practice”. Managing Director Arne Brandes impressed visitors in Paderborn with some practical examples. Following a basic introduction on workflows in businesses, he used practical examples from trade and finance to demonstrate the huge savings potential to be achieved through the use of electronic signature solutions with the signature pad. In some sectors, the use of e-signature solutions can reduce costs by up to 80%. signotec was bolstered by the strong interest and intense discussions following the presentation: “More and more businesses have recognised the opportunity that the pads provide to demonstrate technical expertise and, at the same time, save costs by moving away from paper. During the discussions, it became clear to us that our decision to develop and manufacture in Germany was the right one. We are offering highly developed technology products at the best price/performance ratio, along with reliable service and close customer relations. What’s more, we can respond quickly to our customers’ individual needs, whether it be to provide colour pads or to incorporate company logos,” said Brandes at the end of a very successful trade fair.
With this positive momentum, signotec is now preparing for CeBit in Hanover. The strong interest generated in Paderborn has reinforced the decision to exhibit there in Hall 3 this year. “For the finance sector, we are still number 1 in the market. At the same time, there is ever-increasing interest from various other sectors,” says Brandes. “With this in mind, we are convinced that we have made the right decision.”
This year signotec will share its stand with Topaz Systems. Since its founding ten years ago, signotec has enjoyed an extremely successful working partnership with Topaz Systems. With both companies exhibiting together, visitors to Stand B30 will be able to see the entire range of the very latest pen pads as well as accompanying software from the two leading providers in the world.
